With over 20 years of experience, Heinz Scherz brings a deep understanding of project and process management, helping Fortune 500 companies to develop and execute global process excellence to increase business efficiency.
Heinz trained with SAP AG specializing in the Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) modules of the SAP system. He conducted several implementations of the SAP system for various multi national companies throughout Europe. His last full implementation as a SAP employee, including the blueprint phase, was with AVNET which is globally one of the largest distributor of electronic components and subsystems, employing nearly 19.000 people on all continents.
For the Carlsberg Group, one of the world’s leading beverage producer, Heinz was employed as the internal SAP Consultant for Feldschlösschen AG, Switzerland. He held two roles there which were the daily operation of the SAP ERP solution for Production, Plant Maintenance and Quality as well as being part of the global re-structuring of Carlsberg’s inhomogeneous ERP landscape defining the global blue print for Plant Maintenance.
For BAYER International SA, as Business Support for SAP – Work stream Purchase to Pay (PtP) and Demand to Supply (DtS), Heinz was responsible for the design, global roll-out and continuous improvement process of PtP and DtS.
For Boehringer Ingelheim, Heinz is currently leading a global SAP ERP roll-out connecting over 90 sites (production / business / 3rd party) with about 700 end users setting up a Key User Community using the train-the-trainer approach in the EU / American / Asia.
In between his various SAP projects, Heinz also worked a Personal Coach mainly in the area of Change and Project Management throughout Austria focusing on SMEs.
Heinz received a MBA specializing in Project Management from the University of Salzburg, Austria and a technical degree (Dipl.Ing) from the Technical University of Graz, Austria.
